slap!
키프로스(Cyprus: '사이프러스'로 발음)섬을 둘러싸고 터키와 그리스의 대립감정이 극화 될 때 아래와 같은 joke가 탄생된 적이 있다.
There's a Greek, a Turk and a beautiful woman sitting next to each other on a train. The train goes through a tunnel and everything gets dark. Suddenly there is a kissing sound and then a SLAP!!
The train comes out of the tunnel. The woman and the Greek sitting there looking perplexed. The Turk is bent over holding his face which is red from an apparent slap. The Turk is thinking "Ya Allah, that Greek must have tried to kiss this lady, she thought it was me and slapped me." The lady is thinking, "that Turk must have moved to kiss me and kissed the Greek instead and got slapped." The Greek was thinking to himself..."If this train goes through another tunnel, I could make another kissing sound and slap that Turk again."

그리스인, 터키인, 그리고 한 미녀가 나란히 앉아 기차여행을 하고 있었다. 기차가 캄캄한 터널로 들어갔을 때 입맞춤 소리와 함께 찰싹!! 하는 소리가 났다.
기차가 터널 밖으로 나왔을 때 그 여자와 그리스인은 당혹한 표정으로 앉아 있고 터키인은 맞아서 벌개진 얼굴을 감싸고 숙이고 있었다. 터키인은 “알라신이여, 저 그리스인이 이 여자를 키스하려고 했는데 저가 누명을 쓰고 이 여자에게 맞았습니다.” 라고 생각하는 반면에 그 여자는 “저 터키인이 나에게 키스하려다 잘못 그리스인에게 키스하고는 그에게 맞은 게 분명하지.” 하고 생각했다. 그리스인은 생각 중이었다. “기차가 터널에 또 들어가면 키스소리를 다시 내고 저 터키인을 한 번 더 갈겨줘야지.”
