The days of dragging your X-rays around from doctor to doctor may soon be over. New digital X-ray machines are here, and they're the way of the future. X-rays were first invented and used in medical practice in 1896. Now, 100 years later, at the turn of a new century, X-rays have gone high tech. Nicole Tancredi is about to have a digital X-ray, a state of the art image that's than traditional films. The pictures of Nicole's spine can be manipulated and enhanced so a doctor can get a better look at the problem area.
