Valerie: Did you work in high school?
Kim: In high school, I didn't work during the school year, because I was doing band after school or swimming after school; there just wasn't time to do everything. I had a brief stint as an Avon lady.
    Valerie: Whoa!
Kim: As a door-to-door saleswoman of beauty products, right? And that lasted about three weeks, in the summer, and decided that that wasn't quite for me. But mostly in high school I was, you know, studying and doing my after-school activities. In university, I had a part-time job in my later years as a bank teller, which actually was quite fun... which I enjoyed.
