V: Mmm! I remember we weren't allowed to work. Maybe it was just
my family; I can't remember now, when I think about it, but most
people weren't allowed to work during the school year while being a
student, even after you turned 16. But in the summer, everyone had a
part-time job doing something. And I worked in a drugstore ¦¡
Walgreen's or something like that. Yeah. K: Right. V: Working the cash register and saving money. And then I was a
waitress for a pizza place, also. J: So you get pretty good tips, or no? V: The tips were great. Yeah, yeah. That was fun. J: The wages weren't so good, but the tips were good... V: The tips were good, yeah. And free pizza. J: ...which they probably wouldn't be here. K: Free pizza. That's a good bonus. V: But you know what? I still to this day don't really enjoy the taste
of pizza (laugh) after that. J: (laugh) Too much of a good thing.
