Gulliver's Travels (20)
|
|
I soon saw why they had fled. Knee-deep in the sea was a huge man. He was wading as fast as he could to catch up
with the boat and men. I turned and ran in great fear. Then I went up a steep hill, from the top of which I saw a lot of
fields full of corn and grass. The grass was about twenty feet high, and I thought it must be meant for hay. In the next field I saw
a man as big as the one I had seen wading in the sea. He was as tall as a church steeple, and took ten yards at each stride.
