Once there was a little girl. Her name was Wendy. When she was two years old, she picked a flower in the garden for her mother. She was as sweet as the flower, and when her mother, Mrs. Darling, saw her, she said, “Oh, why can’t you stay like this forever?”
So Wendy began to see that she could not be two years old forever. Two is the beginning of the end, and the end is to be grown-up.
