Flesh from a leatherback, one of the rarest sea-turtle species, was turned into a stew and eaten by workers at the Miami Seaquarium after it died from injuries it had suffered in the wild. No charges were filed, say state authorities, because the institution's permit to handle endangered species doesn't specify how dead animals are to be disposed of.
