A 33-year-old woman was charged Monday at the Pleasanton courthouse on three misdemeanor counts of battery for hitting two grocery store employees and slightly injuring a Livermore police officer on April 7.

She is accused of demanding free hams and then attacking the Livermore store employees who refused to give them to her and tried to make her leave when she became irate.

A store special gave customers who spent $50 or more a free ham. And although the woman grocery total reached only $48, she asked for a free ham. The store manager agreed.

But apparently one wasn't enough for the shopper, court records said.

She went on to demand more hams for the $400 she had spent at the store during the month, court records said. The woman said she wanted to give them to various family members.

But the trouble started when the manager finally had enough and told her to leave.

She hit the man and rammed him with a shopping cart, police reports said. "She was hitting, kicking, cursing and yelling," a officer wrote in the report.

    하지만 문제는 매니저가 더 이상 참지 못하고 그녀에게 떠나라고 말했을 때 시작되었다.

    그녀는 그를 구타한 다음 쇼핑용 수레로 쳤다고 경찰보고서는 말하고 있다. 한 경관의 보고서에는 "그녀는 때리고, 차고, 욕하고, 고함을 질렀다."라고 적혀 있었다.
