  • the+ ∼sh, the + ∼ch, the + ∼ese
    the Polish(폴란드인), the Chinese(중국인), the French(프랑스인), the Turkish(터키인), the Japanese(일본인), the English(영국인), the Spanish(스페인인), the Portuguese(포루투칼인).

    the Americans(미국인), the Italians(이탈리아인), the Russians(러시아인), the Canandians(캐나다인)

    American: a. 미국의, 미국인의; n. 미국인.
    English: a. 영국의; n. 영국인, 영어.

    ☆ 형용사 가운데 비교를 할 수 없는 낱말들이 있다. 절대적인 것이나 완전한 것을 내용으로 갖는 형용사들은 최상급이나 비교급을 가질 수 없다.
